Petition for all Elvis Fans worldwide

 For the purpose of keeping the Capri- Club, the Officiers-Club and the Building 3707 of the Ray Barracks in Friedberg. Elvis gave here two press conferences: One when he arrived on 02. October 1958 and one at the end of his military services on 01. March 1960. The local Elvis Fans need your help and support!!! They don't want to loose a further historical home of Elvis. His house, Goethestr. 14 (Bad Nauheim), where he lived for one year and the Villa Grunewald are in private hands. The american forces have left and this estate automatically is property by the German state. Usually they will pull down the old army bases and the plots will be sold. This should be prevented to keep up the memory of Elvis and his European home. For that reason these historical buildings should become a world cultural heritage for all Elvis fans worldwide, a museum and a residence for the registered society.

Elvis fans and the Elvis-Club Bad Nauheim-Friedberg collected already 3000 signatures to preserve the Capri Club (building 3703), officer club and building 3707 and handed them over to Mayor Michael Keller, Friedberg. Gladly also further signatures can be delivered.
